Sofie Inwood

Sofie is a registered psychologist working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, low mood, trauma, disordered eating, workplace stress, relationship difficulties, self-esteem concerns and identity exploration. She has a particular interest in working with young adults and with current and former Defence personnel. She offers a warm, down-to-earth and collaborative space where clients can feel safe to talk openly, make sense of their experiences and begin seeing real change.

She has worked in various settings, including NGOs, private practice and hospitals across NSW, SA and QLD. She has completed a Clinical Masters program and is currently undertaking a registrar program to gain endorsement in Clinical Psychology.

Her approach draws from evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Schema Therapy. Sessions focus on understanding patterns, strengthening effective coping skills and creating meaningful change aligned with your values.
