Sofie Inwood
Sofie is a registered psychologist with experience supporting adolescents and adults through a range of mental health challenges. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centred, aiming to create a safe and supportive therapeutic space where clients feel heard and empowered.
She has worked extensively with individuals of all ages, helping them navigate concerns such as anxiety, OCD, low mood, disordered eating, trauma, workplace stress, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, and identity concerns. She has an interest in supporting young adults, along with current and former Defence personnel.
Sofie has experience in various settings, including NGOs, private practice and hospitals across NSW, SA and QLD. She is committed to continuing professional development and is currently completing a clinical masters program for registered psychologists.
Sofie tailors her approach to each person’s unique needs, drawing from evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Her focus is on fostering resilience, self-awareness, and meaningful change by working collaboratively with clients to build strategies that align with their values and goals.
